About Me

Hello! 👋 I'm Nayan Gavand, a Product Designer (UX/UI) based in USA. My background combines graphic, interaction, and web design. I am passionate about creating meaningful and impactful designs that resonate with users.

With over a decade of experience in the design field, I have worked with companies of all sizes. Early in my career, I spent over two years as a graphic and motion designer, during which I also took on UX/UI design tasks as side projects. After my Master's degree in 2018, I have transitioned into a full-time UX/UI designer role.

In my recent role as a Product Designer at PG&E, I led the design efforts for the field workers. My primary responsibility was to enhance in-house mobile user experience and create seamless workflow for field users . These efforts resulted in notable outcomes, such as a 90% increase in user satisfaction. These experiences have honed my ability to collaborate across functions, lead large-scale projects from concept to completion, and drive design solutions based on user needs and business goals.

I hold Master's degrees in Wed Design and New Media. I am dedicated to keeping up with the latest methods and software, as I believe learning is a lifelong journey. I thrive on challenges and enjoy collaborating with others to create designs that make a difference in people's lives.
